My Fees

OBJECTIVES: This will vary person to person. I can begin from scratch, start where you left off, sort through notes Aunt Mabel left you, scan old photos you have in a box that someone (you don't remember who) gave you a long time ago, work on a particular area of the family giving you fits, look for obituaries to add depth to what you already have, take photos of grave stones. Many things are possible.

I have researched both sides of my family for several years, and been quite successful doing so. I am the 14th generation on my mothers side of the family; and the 5th generation on my dad's side of the family, here in the states that is.

Though genealogy is not my full time job, it is indeed my passion. Because it is my passion, you will get a dedicated researcher; one as interested in your family story as you are.

I have compiled stories, data, and pictures into family calendars. What a fabulous gift this makes. Another format I've used for compiling information is more like a scrapbook, which is more traditional. Again a perfect gift for any occassion.

Generally, hourly rate (which includes parking, usage fees, photocopying, and postage) $15.00/$20.00 in and out of town. Some exceptions for long distances. Specific piece meal pricing:
Obituaries,Death Certificate, and Census can be available on microfilm and can be either simple or complexed. Time varies for these tasks as well. Some death certificate numbers available on line (1913-1937), 1908-1913 and 1937-1944 only available through microfiche and microfilm searches. Occassionally, death certificates are available with microfilm or microfiche searches even when you don't find certificate number with on line searches.
